2009The 2009 White Sabers Drum and Bugle Corps will be exploring a world of intrigue through the music of Cirque du Soleil. The music of La Nouba and Quidam will provide the backdrop for a journey into a strange and exotic world as the White Sabers entertain DCA audiences throughout the 2009 competitive season. 2008The 2008 White Sabers played the music of Robert W. Smith, including The Great Locomotive Chase, Twelve Seconds to the Moon, Into the Storm, Africa: Ceremony, Song and Ritual, The Ascension and Declaration in Blue. 2007The 2007 White Sabers played Gladiator. The music inluded Fate of the Gods by Steven Reineke, Mars by Gustav Holst, and selections from The Gladiator and Troy movie soundtracks. 2006The 2006 White Sabers' show was entitled Portraits of Emotion, with music including Feeling Good and Save the Last Dance by Michael Buble, Don't Cry For Me Argentina from Evita, Conga by Gloria Estefan, and an arrangement of Tiger of San Pedro by Tom Ruby. 2005The 2005 White Sabers' show was entitled Ain't It Rich, featuring music by Buddy Rich, including Channel One Suite, Space Shuttle, Mercy Mercy Mercy, Something, and Dancing Men. |
